Nothing like homegrown talent...
When it comes to urban streetwear, the UK has produced some of the most world renowned brands. In this edition of 'Under The Radar' we put you guys onto Tobe Footwear, a brand that's been making some noise for a while in the UK.
Humble beginnings
Tobe Footwear was established in 2018 by Beverly Tofour, who like many of us dreamt of designing and creating her own shoe. Whilst this was a dream for many, it was Beverly who took that step to make it come true.
With Minimal financial backing, Beverly took it upon herself to create a sneaker brand centred on both luxury, quality and affordability.
Tobe Collections
Tofour created the Tobe collections in reflection of what every sneaker enthusiast wanted. With a great combination of both quality and price, Tobe Footwear experienced exponential growth since its inception in 2018.
Garnishing accolades such as being interviewed by GQ magazine, Tobe collections growth seems to be similar to the likes of other homegrown brands such as Corteiz and Stone Island.
My noticeable favourite is the Tobe Runner V2, the overall shoe has a nice retro design resembling the likes of early 2000 skateboard sneakers.
Tobes are definitely a brand to keep an eye on, unlike it's competitors, Tobe footwear provides a great combination of both quality and affordability.
