Top Sneakers to get for the low

This ones for my sneakerheads in the trenches, we got you...

These days sneakers are becoming more expensive as coppping your favourite sneaker off retail is becoming harder and harder, and I know a lot of sneakerheads who just don't want to pay resell, I don't blame them, resell costs an arm and a leg, especially if its a Jordan retro with some hype.

Nevertheless, in this edition of CrepTalk we discuss the best sneakers to get for the low deadstock.

So for those in the trenches that haven't got an extra £150 above retail, here are the best creps to get for the low.

Nike Dunk Hi - StockX price-£138

The Nike Dunk has been a classic for decades, often times fading in and out of the spotlight, it's popularity has suddenly skyrocketed, most namely the low top variant of the sneaker, this sudden shift in popularity has left its hi-top counterpart missed out on some of the attention. However, in the sneaker community, there's always an underrated gem that people miss out on, and with the hi's there are definitely some colourways that I can get down with, namely the Navy blue-white variant and the panda (black and white) colourway, which you can definitely pull off some tough fits with.

Since the hi-tops are slept on, its created a lower price tag for customers, this sneaker is most definitely slept on and personally needs to added to your rotation.

Nike Air Jordan 1 KO Chicago-StockX price-£148

Since its inception in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 has been a staple silhouette in the sneaker community, as with popularity comes variation, and the Air Jordan 1 has scene numerous variations, from low top to the not soo much popular mid.

With the AJ1 KO, which stands for 'Knock off' it most definitely has to be one of the most mysterious variations of the Jordan line as many seem to forever sleep on this specific silhouette, for a few reasons, namely because of its use of retro colourways looking like a 'knock off' version of the high top version. To be honest, the Jordan KO is definitely a cop for me, it's still a good looking sneaker especially with its use of retro colourways, a bargain for sure!

Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Banned' StockX price-£146

A classic colourway on a mid, you cant make this up. Nah I'm playing, as someone who isn't a big fan of the Jordan 1 mid, I cant lie this particular mid isn't actually mid, its not even the colourway that's making it a win for me, its the overall shoe, its not a bad silhouette.

The banned colourway will always be an iconic colourway, its history behind the colourway itself is something different and will always be iconic in sneaker history, and lets be real the Jordan 1 banned high is just too rare to cop at a 'decent' price, so a mid top just seems reasonable especially at a decent price tag, a big cop for the Jordan 1 fanatics out there.

New Balance 550- Grey and White - StockX price £165

This new balance silhouette has been a underground GOAT for a while, meaning that, though NB isn't making the same noise as the likes of Nike or Adidas, they're definitely an upcoming name in sneaker culture as well as hype. As New Balance did everything right with this shoe, from the initial shape to the premium materials, this specific sneaker is a steal, the white grey colourway is a simple summer fit for those who cant get their hands on a pair of fresh white Air Force 1s.

Adidas Superstar Shell toe- StockX price-£49

The Adidas superstar in my opinion is a forgotten classic, originally a basketball sneaker, this would serve as a bridge between sneaker culture and hip hop as rappers such RUN DMC can be seen to be sporting the classic silhouette with their iconic three stripe adidas tracksuit back in the 1980s.

Till this day the Adidas superstar is still a versatile shoe to be worn, with almost any casual fit, its an incredibly cheap shoe that really isn't worn too much nowadays, if you in the trenches or you ain't really trying to break the bank then these are a must have.

Nike Air Max 90 Infrared Stock X price £150

The Nike Air Max 90 was that shoe back in the day, when guys would wear their 90s in some bootcut jeans, soo baggy that you'd be guessing what type of crep he's wearing, but back then everyone had to have a fresh pair of Air Max 90s, either in black or in infrared, regardless, it was 'that' shoe especially if you were planning a move, maximum comfort and support for you to efficiently plan a move with your boys.

This specific colourway is a gem, as not only is it a retro, but its also in original form and shape as it was back in the early 90s. For such a good price you'd be perpetrating as a sneakerhead if you cant have a pair of these.

Its a must have for me.

Nike Blazer Mid 7 (White and black) StockX price - £64

We've seen the Nike Blazer hold its self for a long time, as one thing you can always say is that the Nike Blazer is not a shoe that fades in and out but has stayed consistent through time and can always be a reliable durable sneaker to wear throughout the year, it my go to casual classic that I know I wouldn't mind getting a bit dirty, because they're easy to clean. Can't go wrong with the Blazer especially at its price.

There you have it, the top sneakers to get for the low, don't worry there's a whole bunch of low priced fire sneakers out there too, comment down below which sneakers you can get for the low.
