The Next Generation of Jordan Brand Athletes

Ever since its creation, Jordan Brand has always held a high calibre roster of athletes across different variation of sports, from basketball, American football, and Soccer. However, when it comes to Jordan Brand its main focus is its roots, and that is the great game of basketball.

In this post, we look at the next generation of Jordan Brand, namely its basketball athletes, and the specific player exclusive colourways.

Zion Williamson

Drafted 1st pick in the 2020 NBA draft, everyone knew Zion was going to be a big name in the league, though he was injured for the majority of his rookie season, Zion still left fans in awe when he played his first 10 games as critics were already looking at him as a contender of Rookie of The Year, however this was awarded to Ja Morant. Fast forward April 2021, Zion has his own new shoe, the Zion 1, both durable, light, and comfortable a true all-round shoe. Prior to his own shoe, Zion had some pretty ‘unique’ personal colourways of the Jordan 34.

Jordan Brand definitely made a good decision going all in with Zion as he shows sky high potential averaging over 25 points per game.

Jayson Tatum

Jordan Brand did a great job with the next generation, as these young stars look primed for the big stages. One star in particular, Jayson ‘J’ Tatum has proved to be one of the most prolific under 25 stars in the league right now, some even draw comparisons to his game to the great Kobe ‘Bean’ Bryant.

Whilst Jayson Tatum is seen to lead the young Celtics team to the playoffs, he is also seen to sport a vast amount of unique personal edition colourway of the Jordan 34 and 35.

It will not be long for this young Celtic to get his own Jordan Brand shoe.

Luka Doncic

At 22 years old Luka Doncic is already one of the best players in the league and has been in multiple conversations within the MVP race. Basketball has always been present in Luka’s life, as at the age of 13 years old he signed with Real Madrid and went on to become the youngest European in Euro league history to gain MVP honours and lead Real Madrid to a title. Jordan Brand did an excellent job signing this young buck to hold the torch as not only is his game flued and effortless, so is his on-court kicks with some of the best Jordan Colourways on court.

Rui Hachimura

Rui Hachimura became the first Japanese national to be drafted in the first round. He is also the third Japanese born player to step on the NBA hardwood, and is widely seen to be the country's best prospect ever. Coming into the NBA Rui was a top prospect in college, Jordan Brand did a great job securing the young star to the team as he's playstyle accommodates the clean, and powerful style Jordan Brand comes with. Furthermore, his personal edition colourways are definitely special.
