Tiffany & Co., the iconic American institution best known for its luxury jewelry, has joined forces with Nike to release a collaboration that has taken the sneaker world by storm. While the release of the Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration was already generating buzz, the revelation that Tiffany & Co. had also created a “Friends & Family” version of the shoe sent sneakerheads into a frenzy.
The “Friends & Family” version of the Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 is made from high-quality leather, a departure from the nubuck material used in the retail version. The shoe features a striking Pantone 1837 colorway, the signature hue of Tiffany & Co., which is sure to turn heads. Black accents on the tongue, side logos, and upper heel provide a bold contrast to the Tiffany Blue® outsole and white midsole.
In addition to the colorway, the “F&F” version also boasts an inverted color arrangement on the shoe box, featuring silver ornamentation on the spine. While it is unclear whether additional silver accessories will accompany the shoe, it is clear that the “Friends & Family” take on Tiffany’s Nike project is a bolder statement than versions available for retail.
Sneakerheads who missed out on the “Friends & Family” edition of the Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 will have to settle for the retail version, which is still a coveted addition to any sneaker collection.
