CLOT x Nike "CLOTEZ"

CLOT and Nike have once again teamed up to bring us a unique and innovative take on sneakers. This time around, they have taken inspiration from the ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang, and brought it to life in the form of the "Clotez." This 3-in-1 silhouette is a collaboration between CLOT, local Hong Kong artist Harry Wong, and Nike.

Wong's original Air Max design, "Kung Fu Soul," which was submitted for the Nike On Air contest in 2018, served as a major source of inspiration for the "Clotez." The design is a nod to the Tai Chi diagram, which represents the concept of fluidity and change. The "Clotez" is designed to be worn as a complete sneaker, or it can be taken apart and worn as two separate shoes: a slip-on and a sneaker.

The sneaker version is meant to be used as an indoor house shoe, and it features a white leather upper with a black Swoosh, while the slip-on version has a matte black upper with serrated bottoms for maximum grip. Both shoes come with removable insoles for added comfort, and the design is finished off with the Yin and Yang symbol embroidered on the drawstring, as well as the Chinese characters "功" and "夫" (Kung Fu) embroidered on the heel.

The CLOT x Nike "Clotez" in black and white is set to be released on February 10, 2023, at JUICE retail stores worldwide.
