The Air Jordan 3 "Wizards" is a tribute to Michael Jordan's brief stint with the Washington Wizards from 2001 to 2003. Originally crafted for MJ himself in 2001, this player exclusive pair features colors that are signature to the Washington basketball team from 1997 to 2007.
The upcoming "True Blue and Copper" colorway of the Air Jordan 3 "Wizards" is set to release on April 29th, 2023, and is made to OG '88 specifications. This retro edition bears an uncanny resemblance to the iconic "True Blue" 3s, with the same cool tone and a white tumbled leather construction, complete with the iconic Elephant Print.
While the "Wizards" colorway has some distinct differences, such as the "Metallic Copper" detailing along the eyelets and Jumpman logo, it pays homage to the classic design of the "True Blue" 3s. The Jumpman Air logo along the heel of the shoe adds a touch of elegance to this timeless design.
